UPDATED CURA + ONLINE PLATING APP = ❤️
We have put in MAJOR updates on how plating and slicing works in AstroPrint.
New Plating Application – Now you can plate, scale/resize, rotate, and even cut objects, right from the browser.
Updated Slicing – You now have the option of using Cura 3.6 or Cura 15.04 (or Slic3r Prusa Edition) as your default slicing engine. Of course, you can also modify all the settings, just like in Cura.
UPLOAD YOUR OWN GCODE
You can now upload GCODE you created in Simplify3D (or any other slicing engine) to AstroPrint! This lets you slice how you want to, but still use AstroPrint for all your wireless/remote 3D printing needs.
REVAMPED UI – SIMPLIFIED WORKFLOWS
If you haven’t logged in to AstroPrint in a while, you’ll notice a whole new Interface next time you log in. We now have a new Notification/Message system, easier access to Support (Tickets, Forum, & Learning Center), and more transparency regarding plans and usage (storage used, etc).
